What happens to my formatting when I convert Markdown to rich text?
Rich text keeps bold, italics, headings, lists and basic tables. What it cannot carry over is advanced layout, comments and tracked changes. Coming from Markdown, the content that matters — structure and content in a form you can diff and version — is what the converter works from.
